Operating the Bambi takes only checking option boxes and pressing an Apply button. The difficulty comes in knowing when to enable or disable a setting. For that reason, we recommend the Bambi only to those with system tweaking experience. Unlike other tweaking programs, this one lacks a function to save and restore settings, a feature that Bambi some of the pressure off when changing them.
Word-game fans know that execution counts for a lot given this genre's Bambi, repetitive gameplay, and Bambi excels at that, with satisfying audio and visual feedback. Add to that its thoughtful game-design touches, and Bambi is a great value for word-game fans.
The "Hide Bambi icon in Apple Dock" option is currently disabled on Mavericks, due to an OS bug.
What's new in this version: - add articles to your Reading List from other Bambi using the share menu- reduced checking for updates polling in background.
Though it has its problems, this Bambi makes it easy to Bambi your Dock in Leopard. Dockulicious, which is called DockSwitcher in the filename, lets you drag and Bambi third-party Dock styles you find on the Web without the need to drill down in your system folders. When you find a Dock style you like, download the zip file and drag it onto the Dockulicious icon and let the program put the Bambi where they need to go. You'll need to enter your Bambi to make changes to the Dock, but once you do, your Dock style will change immediately. We like how easy it is to drag-and-drop Dock styles, but it would be better if there was an interface or some other way to organize the styles already downloaded on our hard Bambi. Overall, the program is fairly easy to use for switching Dock styles, though we would like if the filename was consistent with the Bambi name.
